Off the Field Brings It To The Runway

With the Superbowl only 7 days away, Abi Ferrin, the “Off the Field” Designer of Choice, brought team spirit to the runway this past Thursday night at The Shak. With NFL Wives hosts, Sherice Brown, Romonda Jordan, Becky Nguyen and Janet Dorsett, the event was nothing short of fabulous! With Abi Ferrin collection themed with Packers and Steelers team colors, models graced the runway with poise and pizzazz and who knew football fashions could be so much fun!

Next up for Off the Field….The 10th Annual “Women of Purpose” NFL Wives Awards Banquet and Fashion Show will be held on February 4, 2011 to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Over 40 NFL player’s wives will take the runway modeling Abi Ferrin creations, and all for a great cause. With a star-studded crowd hosted by Pat Smith, wife of Emmitt Smith, and Amy Vanderoef, host of Channel 8 Good Morning Texas, Janet Hill and Nancy Rogers will be recognized with “Women of Impact” awards.

This month the silver sequin apron was featured in Palm Beach Illustrated and Nashville Arts Magazine and will be on display at the South Beach Food and Wine Festival and the Oscars in February. They will also be sold in Miami’s infamous Delano hotel! Many celebrities have incorporated these fashionable aprons into their wardrobe….Beyonce, Martha Stewart, Giada de Laurentiis, Scarlet Johannson, Vanessa Williams, Tory Burch, Katie Lee Joel, Racheal Ray and Jessica Simpson. Local females are also sporting these around town…Nancy Rogers, Kim Schlegel Whitman, Lori and Gene Jones, Lynn Wyatt, and Becca Cason Thrash!

Haute Hostess will make an appearance during Superbowl week at Stanley Korshak and will feature their Valentine collection , made of duchess satin , lined in luscious coordinated linings.The trunk show will also include a black duchess satin with gold sequin flounces to represent the Steelers and an emerald green sequin with yellow silk ribbon to represent the Packers in honor of Superbowl fans. In addition, the entire limited edition sequin collection will be on display as well as the infamous GISELLE, that was on Oprah!
